Adaptive Recreation & Exercise

Our Purpose

The Adaptive Recreation and Exercise program provides students with disabilities an opportunity to become fit and active. Our professional and qualified fitness staff will work with you to help you reach your goals. Whether it’s losing weight, getting stronger, or reaching new levels of independence, you can get there with Adaptive Rec.

Our Equipment

In addition to our weight and cardio equipment which can be adapted to fit your specific needs, we also have a selection of specialty equipment including:

  • Motomed Upper and Lower Body Ergometer
  • Easystand Standing Frame
  • Sci Fit Total Body Recumbent Bike
  • Medical Grade Wheelchair Scale
  • Zero Entry Pool

Our Commitment

Adaptive Recreation is committed to making our students healthy, active, and independent. Campus Rec’s activities and outdoor events can be modified for most student accommodations. We provide levels of service from simple fitness consultation and activity coordination all the way up to personal training programs, all with the goal of giving you the tools to participate in all of our programs as an autonomous, independent individual.
